Actor Sonu Sood’s premises in Mumbai and a Lucknow-based real estate company that was involved in a deal with him, were raided by Income Tax Department by officials on Wednesday. As per a PTI report, the visit of the I-T officials, which was not termed as a raid, was in connection with an alleged tax evasion probe. The reports claimed that a real estate deal is also under the scanner of the income tax department. Amidst this, fans and netizens have extended their support to Sonu on social media.
