The Narcotics Control Bureau who was on the lookout for the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend and assistant director Rishikesh Pawar has detained him in the drug case. According to a report in News 18, Pawar was detained by allegedly consuming and procuring banned substances. Pawar will now be questioned by NCB officials as multiple allegations have surfaced against him.

As per the report, Pawar reportedly responsible for arranging and supplying drugs to the late actor. Earlier in January, the NCB was on the lookout for Pawar after he was said to be absconding post multiple summonses. Several people including Rhea Chakraborty have named Pawar in their statements, the report mentioned.
Following Deepesh Sawant’s interrogation, the NCB had raided Pawar’s residence and seized his laptop and hard drive. Pawar was not only well-known to the late actor but was also reportedly an AD on Sushant’s dream project.
Pawar being detained was confirmed by ANI as well, “Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has detained Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend, assistant director Rishikesh Pawar, for questioning: NCB. #Maharashtra,” ANI tweeted.
